Pathways to University

Durban has articulation agreements with the Torrens university. When you complete your study at Durban, you can transfer credits to Bachelor degree for higher study. This is an excellent pathway to Bachelor degree.

Outstanding training facilities

Durban International College have a very well equipped faculty. We have a number of training rooms and well resourced computer rooms for students. Students are able to use the libraries and resources for their work.

We also have industrial kitchen facilities for the hospitality courses (commercial cookery) at the 73 Rose Street, Mile End. We have all practical work in the Kitchen done which are very closely located from the training faculty at Currie Street.

Industry placements

Industry placements at a variety of local reputable hotels are also arranged by the college for Commercial Cookery students for 200 hours. Students are encouraged to get involved in the process and the aim is to get students a variety of experience with the industry placement.
